Green Cross Biotherapeutics Supports Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation
MONTRÉAL (April 4, 2016) – Green Cross Biotherapeutics visited the new Montreal Children’s Hospital to deliver an education grant to the Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation. This donation was an unrestricted educational grant for the Child Health and Human Development Program seminar series which was used for the educational advancement of graduate students and trainees.
The Research Program includes an intensive educational component that is an essential part of training for undergraduate and graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, medical students and resident trainees. Their goal is to develop the most relevant, state of the art program, with high-end speakers who come from their superlative Quebec universities, as well as invitees from other major institutions.
Child Health Research – Research Institute of the McGill University Health Center
The Child Health Research community comprises of close to 100 clinician-investigators and research scientists, 80 graduate students, 30 postdoctoral and research fellows, 90 technical and research assistants. The Research Institute of the Montreal Children’s Hospital has achieved many ground breaking medical discoveries that have had a significant impact on the diagnosis, treatment, and care of children locally, nationally and internationally.
